Terms of Service

Last updated: July 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Beetle Box ("Platform"), including our web application, desktop protocols, and mobile software, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements

You must be at least 10 years old to use Beetle Box. All users are required to complete one-time age verification upon initial access. Providing false age information is a violation of these terms.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer or breach Beetle Box authentication systems.
  • Use the platform to distribute harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
  • Abuse API bandwidth or attempt automated spamming against virtual companions.

4. Intellectual Property

All visual designs, virtual companion assets, logos, and code bases related to Beetle Box are protected under copyright and trademark laws.

5. Trainer Code of Conduct & Swarm Operation

Whether participating as a guest or signed-in trainer, you agree to operate Beetle Box's virtual companions responsibly and within the application's intended modes. Virtual companion behavior, artificial instincts, synchronization features, and ambient variables remain simulated application experiences and must not be used to harm, harass, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to other users or systems.

6. Permissions, Data & Simulated Features

Optional integrations such as location and Calendar access are used only for the features described when permission is requested, including regional weather behavior and user-requested calendar actions. These actions require prior user authorization. Signed-in profiles may be synchronized through Firebase, while guest data may remain local to the device and can be lost when local application data is cleared. Virtual beetle activity, mock combat, and other themed effects are simulations confined to the Beetle Box application.

7. Platform and Service Availability

Some Beetle Box features, integrations, authentication methods, and third-party services are available only on supported platforms, devices, regions, account types, or application versions. Availability may also depend on the relevant third-party provider, and a feature shown or described on one Beetle Box platform is not guaranteed to be supported on every other platform.

Google Play Games functionality is associated with supported Google and Android environments and is not currently supported by the Beetle Box Windows desktop application. Standard Google account sign-in on Windows is a separate authentication method and may still be available.
